The 2nd Quarter Board Meeting was held 15 April 2025, at 5:30PM at 23540 Stablewood Circle.
The meeting was called to order at 5:50PM, with Mark Jenner, Terry Johnson, Bobby Lambert, Davin Rieke and Marcelle Clement representing Magnolia Management.
After the agenda was approved the 1st Quarter 2025 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved. The SPOA financials were reviewed along with the 2025 dues collection status. A discussion followed about dues collection and the lien status on 1 delinquent account. We also discussed a settlement amount, that if paid by the end of May, will terminate the lien against the delinquent property. Spending rates were reviewed with the new budget and some increases in irrigation maintenance and fencing costs. Many homeowners have not updated payments to include this year’s dues increase.
The board discussed current building projects, drive-thru reports and violations in the neighborhood. We still have concerns with yard signs, people not cleaning up after pets, excessive speeds and our recent crime wave targeting unlocked vehicles. An updated dataset was requested from Harrison County Sherrif’s Office, the preliminary review of the data does not reflect an increase in crime when comparing it to the 2021 dataset. The data does reflect that the Oaks, including Northern and Southern, with their live security and camera monitoring has an 8 times higher crime rate than Stablewood.
Currently the irrigation system is down with another leak and should be repaired by the end of the month.
The follow-on Board meetings were scheduled for 5:30 PM on 22 July and 28 Oct all held at 23540 Stablewood Circle.
The meeting adjourned at 6:30PM
