The 2nd Quarter Board Meeting was held 9 April 2024, at 6:30PM at 23540 Stablewood Circle. 

The meeting was called to order at 6:32PM, with Mark Jenner, Davin Rieke, Terry Johnson, Bobby Lambert and Sarah Diodene representing Magnolia Management. 

After the agenda was approved the 1st Quarter meeting minutes were reviewed and approved.  The SPOA financials were reviewed along with the 2024 dues collection status.  A discussion followed because of the disappointing response with 12 property owner’s delinquent (18%) into 2024.  The 4 delinquent accounts from last year were reviewed with 2 making no attempt to satisfy the requirements.  We are awaiting an update from the association attorneys (Balch & Bingham) as to the timing of the next step.  The SPOA is now spending an inordinate amount of time and money trying to collect dues as our maintenance and landscaping costs continue to rise.  The legal fees to recover one property owner’s dues exceeds the amount recovered.  That is a formula for disaster.

The board discussed current building projects, drive-thru reports and violations in the neighborhood.  Currently there are 2 homes under construction and two additional sets of plans in the final approval process with construction planned this year.

The 3rd  Quarter board meeting is for 16 July.
