The 3rd Quarter Board Meeting was held 22 July 2025, at 23540 Stablewood Circle.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30PM, with Mark Jenner, Terry Johnson, Bobby Lambert, and Marcelle Clement representing Magnolia Management.
After the agenda was approved the 2nd Quarter 2025 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved. The SPOA financials were reviewed along with the 2025 dues collection status. A discussion followed about dues collection and the notification requirements and process. Spending rates were reviewed with the new budget and increases in irrigation maintenance being notable. Many homeowners have not updated payments to include this year’s dues increase. Magnolia Management is in the process of updating “preferred contact information” for SPOA members to insure accurate communication.
The board discussed current building projects, drive-thru reports and violations in the neighborhood. We still have concerns with yard signs, people not cleaning up after pets, excessive speeds and 4-wheeler use in the neighborhood.
The Board will research the advantages of placing part of our reserves into a CD or Money Market account. The follow-on Board meetings is scheduled for 5:30 PM on 28 Oct and will be held at 23540 Stablewood Circle.
